How do I Earn £100k as a Broker?

As part of my qualifying questions when someone is interested to find out what working with me looks like I ask the question -

'What is your target revenue goal for in 12 months time?'

The most common answer goes something like this:

'Well I'd love to earn 100k but can't see that being possible, so probably like 60k..'

Most of these have great businesses who could easily make £100k with the right processors in place.

One of the biggest barriers I see preventing financial service advisors and firms is always the person at the top and more than often comes down to overriding limiting belief when it comes to their money mindset.

Your “money mindset” is put simply your set of beliefs — usually subconscious — about money. It’s the way you approach earning, saving, spending, and sharing in your life.

A lot are stuck in a scarcity mindset when it comes to money.

When people are stuck in this way of thinking where they want to keep hold of every penny and don't want to invest in their business people won't invest into theirs?!

Anyway I'm going on a tangent about mindset here when this post was designed to illustrate when broken down how making 6 figures may not seem so out of reach and depending on your model you could get there pretty quickly.

You'll struggle to get there fast by offering a whole bunch of services to a whole bunch of different customer types and spreading yourself too thinly however.

If you take a step back from working inside your business at a global level, use the 80/20 rule (Google it if you don't know what it is) and look at what makes up the biggest part of your revenue, eliminate or delegate the rest, become an absolute ninja in terms of your specialist product knowledge and focus in with laser precision at that one thing, reaching that 100k mark becomes so much quicker, easier and more fun!
